A lot of Insurance Companies have it as just as standard thing.

Call your insurance company and ask.

It will probably cost you an extra $20 a year to get the tow service. I don't know the extent of where they will tow to though.

What do you mean by "get towing?"

a) You need a tow right now and have it already as part of your insurance policy?

or

b) You would like to have the peace of mind of a tow provision on your insurance policy?

If you need a tow, you should call your agent and find out who they allow to do the tows, or the "reasonable and customary" amount that they will pay. Likely, they won't shell out $200 for a 2 mile tow, so this will give you the ability to get a quote from the Tow Service.

If you want the provision added, call your agent and have them add it (or like people have said, it may be included already, in which case it would be written into your existing poilcy).

Just ask your insurance company. It's something like 6 bucks every 6 months for me.

LOL, I meant that it what it costs to add "free towing" to your policy. Not the cost of getting a tow when your car breaks down.

I have State Farm insurance. You simply mail them your tow bill and they send you the same amount back in a check. I've used it several times already.
