power steering whine/problem

The other day I disconnected the bolt circled in green for about 15 minutes.... i put it back on and went for a drive to find out something has a whine that kind of comes and goes. I figured its my power steering because it got worse when i turned. The whine doesnt get nearly as loud if i am in neutral and coasting but gets REAL bad if i make a sharp turn. Im puzzled... this morning i looked at my reservoir and it looked low so i bought PS fluid but when i backed the car out of the garage it looked fine, I was no longer low on fluid. does anyone know whats going on ? please

BTW: theres a small puddle on my garage floor of PS fluid but the reservoir says its fine.

where did the fluid leak from (where under your car?)? Did you check the tension of your ps belt?

You might want to take a look at your power steering rack to see if any of the boots are leaking.
