yah i hate when ppl mistake my lancer for an evo though... this kid my gf works with asked her if it was an evo, she didnt know at first herself lol. I told her to tell him no it wasn't... she did, then he proceeded to tell her that all lancer's are evo's and that I didnt know what i was talking about. Im like wtf, its my car.... i know lol

I have only had 2 people recognize the car for what it was. the first was a guy in a nice looking 2nd gen talon and the other was in a riced out chevy cavilear...

 

First time i drove my EVO to school(high school), i parked next to my friends S4. I went out to the car for lunch and 15-20 kids were standing around it sayin stuff like "dude! u got an evo! thats badass!" Even a kid with a 330 hp WRX was impressed.

 

I love the look on some people faces as I drive buy and the women just stare

 

yeh people give me **** bout my lancer...they think it sucks cause of the evo..some people say nice car at the gas station i get my highs and lows from it...some dumbass kids at school still think it its a evo..and the car from 2f2f is an evo but its not its a plain old lancer...but still i gain a lot of looks driving cause a lot of kids around here drive civics so people like seeing something new around town

 

So far I've gotten the thumbs up from a vette, mustang, and even a viper. I didn't race any of them, just a casual hello at a stop light. Some guy in a SLK32 AMG, looked at my EVO and laughed so I felt it was in his best interest to get his *** handed to him.

I always see kids pointing at it on the road, and there's always someone at the gas station asking if it's an EVO. I was coming out of Target the other day and I saw some guy drive around it in his car like three times as I was walking towards it. When he saw it he smiled and drove off (I always park as far away from the store as possible).

The best was the time when I was just driving, minding my own business, when I notice this kid in the lane next to me, just staring at my car. (he had to be like 16 or 17). He kept pulling along side and it looked like he was stairing at the brakes. He kept doing this for a mile or two when all of a sudden I hear a screeeeech. It seems that he was paying too much attention to my car, and not the road so he didn't seem to notice that his lane was about to end. He stopped in time, but I could just see getting a law siut slapped on me, b/c my car was so beutiful it caused the kid to crash his car.

 

The mailman liked my OZ and asked what kinda car it was. I had one girl stare at when I first got it.

 

First hour i had it on saturday i got a compliment from some old lady at the gas station

Then yesterday after school i got stuck behind a bus with an eigth grade girls track team. They couldnt stop staring at the car.
When i finally passed the bus two of the girls mooned me.

It was disgusting but funny

 

Oh yeah yesterday i walked into kroger and a worker walked out and said

OMG I that an f-ing evo OMG OMG That thing is F-ing cool as hell OMG OMG

 

Over the weekend I took my three year old son to a Ford SVT Owners Rally at a Ford dealership..He loves cars so
we strolled around and looked at some Cobras and what not..

son: Look Daddy, a Horsie...
Me: Yes son, it's called a Mustang..
son: Look Daddie, a snake!!
me: Yes son, its called a Cobra..

Pretty fun..Anyways, I get into my car and drive out of the parking lot to go down the road a bit to turn around..
As I make a u-turn , I notice these guys in the parking lot of the SVT show with a camcorder in their hand videotaping ME in the Evo...!

I decided to pull back in towards the entrance to the car show where they were standing and let them get a good look..

2 minutes later, I had the hood up, the kids camcorder running, and about 15 fricken people ALL over the Evo..

It felt good because everyone knew EXACTLY what it was, and had TONS of questions...everyone respected the car, and had lots of compliments!

Then we pulled out and the kids videotaped my swift exit and acceleration!!

My three year old got a kick out of it too!
