That might work for a drag car, but extremely few shops could accomplish the complexity and effectiveness of this setup, imo. I know it looks simple, but there's far more to the design than meets the eye. The parts themselves are not difficult to mimic, but the configuration is.

I agree. I was just kidding about the previous post. My intent was to mean, if you don't know what you're doing in every respect, just trust someone else and write the check. Great job by the way. In my case, Buschur is doing my current build. You must have a lot of 'across the board' experience, from 1/4 to auto-cross, etc. Hope to meet you someday.

I went with Paul, because he's local, so I can get direct support for everything without having to fly Robi out here all the time.
Thanks for the response and good luck with the car, the setup looks great.

Ah, if only I lived close enough to Buschur to do that...ahhhhhhhh

I don't. That's my burden. I've driven to their shop 3 times roundtrip. It's 1030 miles ONE WAY. First time was to take my first RS to them for stages 1-4. Sold it to my son, bought another and with only 57 miles on it, I took it to them. Now I won't see it until Feb probably. Again, David said some good things about you and I look forward to meeting you. I have a good friend in colo.springs. Names TUCK. Owned the Credit bureau there for years.

Ahw, wow, 1030 miles - about the same for me if not a little farther. Let me know when you're up this way, if ever. Glad David spoke well of me - I certainly speak well of Buschur Racing.

Nice time! What camber settings were you using and what kind of ride height?

Started off with -3.0f/-1.0r to see how it all shakes out, but during the alignment process, we found that my camber plates let me go as far as -3.9f, so I have room to go more aggressive if the situation dictates. I also may end up going -1.5r, but we'll have to see, because whatever I choose for the rear will be for both race and street, because we determined it was too difficult to always change the rear camber/toe for each event, but the fronts are easy. If -1.5r makes me faster and doesn't negatively affect my daily driving tires too much, then we'll probably go that route.

I'm not sure on the ride height - I just know they were meticulous about making sure the ride height was exact on all 4 corners during the whole alignment and corner balancing process.

Did you corner balance the car "as is" or were you sitting inside while they did it? And would it make any difference?

Do I see waves in your left rear quarter panel, where the fender was rolled?

Sitting in it the whole time. Yes, it makes a huge difference, especially with my 225lbs.

I don't think so...I mean, you have to really be looking for something wrong to even think those might be waves, especially since the only thing I see is what looks like a slight shift in lighting in the early morning shot, and that shift is above the lip. Only the lip gets rolled, but I guess it's possible. I haven't noticed in person.
