Clutch feel
Clutch feel
ok. hopefully i won't get too many flames for being too inexperienced or too young. I recently learned how to drive stick, but I consider myself a decently fast learner, as I drove through L.A. traffic within about 30 min. of practice after my first lesson from a friend (this was on a 2000 accord granted). The clutch on the accord seemed pretty heavy (from my limited pt of view). I've also driven a WRX, and that clutch seemed kind of light to me (enough so that I stalled a few times when I first drove it b/c I didn't really feel the engagement). Is the evo harder to drive than an accord or wrx in respects to engaging the clutch/shifting/anything related to transmission? I know there was a thread about the car jerking around and being harder to drive at first and getting used to it and such, but i was wondering if anyone else could add something else about the level of difficulty of driving this car. When I get the car, hopefully it will not take too long to get accustomed to it. Thanks.
uhh......sorry, off subject ::ahem:: well then
anyway, dude just look at it this way...picture yourself driving it and feel the force of the throttle response and get to know where the clutch engages the tranny(the point where your car is about to choke off) and you'll be fine Thread
