10 Grand to spend !! Need Idea's

So, I'm in Iraq right now and dont have much time to search (so dont bash me for asking). As the tittle say's i have about 10 grand to spend. Can you gu's throw me some idea's . Plans so are include:

Advan RGII's 18x9 29 offset (gold)
Jic magic FLTA2 coilovers
HKS ssqv bov w/up pipe (recirc)
HKS RS intake
JDM 9 bumper
Defi gauges
and some sort of flash.

so with that said, what do you guys think i should add?

I was thinking about getting the vishnu flash, because it controls boost. if you have flash suggestions, keep in mind that i live in hawaii so it will be a mail-in-tune. Help me out! thanks

Get a TBE, boost controller, and reflash.

Use the remaing amount to pay off more of your car.

Not that I have anything against HKS, but I'd steer clear of the ssqv (many have had problems) and SPECIALLY the RS intake, both the new and the old. The filter element is extremely porous and cannot filter anything at all. People have found dust in their intake pipe after the filter.

10k is a lot of money, dude but the question to ask would perhaps be what you actually want at the end of the day. I know this perhaps sounds patronizing, but there are sooo many ways to do it. One extreme would be to go all out for performance and the other would be to start buying things like titanium turbo-backs and the more 'high end' brands that look a little nicer, carries more street cred but aren't necessarily more effective.

If I were in the US, I'd call up a tuner like Buschur or Works or such like and talk to them about it. 10k is beyond bolt-on territory, imo.

I have looked into the buschur stages 1-6 for the IX, but im alittle nervous about manual boost controllers due to previous bad experiences.

no point of getting an ebc for fancy display, mbc will do the job just fine. look into a UNOS or forge.

The SSQV is lothargic. You would be better off using your OEM bypass valve.

There is a lot you can do with $10k so you need pick your horsepower level/intended usage and then do some research. Try to stay away from the ricer add-ons.

Personally, if I were you, I would just call up Buschur and go with their packages up to your desired power level and then add some coilovers and some wheels.

That's just me, but you asked.

Very poor suggestions by that importedmex guy - why in the WORLD would you suggest a Greddy e-manage? I can't imagine what would lead you to suggest such a thing. That was awful.

Subur who, no one can suggest anything until you tell us what you want. From your list of planned mods, I get the feeling you haven't the slightest clue what you're doing and would absolutely waste that 10k if given the opportunity. I believe it's an awful idea to spend a whole 10k to mod a car like that, but you may not care. I would spend about $3k to make your IX a beast with the WT/BR package to start off and those rims if you must have them. Then, spend the rest on paying off the car or put it into savings. After you have driven the IX with an extra 70whp for a while, then decide if you want to tweak it some more or go with a big turbo.

You must have an ultimate plan before spending 10k like this...

I'd say to do what Warr said, plus a clutch.

I say just put 5k towards the car balance then save the other 5k and when you get enough to pay off the car do it. then start modding the hell out your car.
