I have a VIII but just read power pages in new import tuner and the tanabe concpet blue turboback gained 24 whp. With a kandn drop in and jdm boost controller they got 298whp with the turbo back with no tune.

 

honestly... there are small differences in exhaust.. a 3" stainless steel exhaust is a 3" stainless steel exhaust... your guna see the same hp gains with each.. titanium you pay more because it is lighter...titanium is going to be louder as well.. just all depends on how much money you want to spend

 

dude before u go and spend our money make sure u know what u want.....if looks is not so important to u and u looking for power then i would say buschur and u will save some weight .price is not bad either $825 shipped. It sounds good and with hfc and magaflow muffer the cops wont bug u.

 

anyone have any reviews on the megan exhaust? leaning towards buying that one

I have the ams turbo back, Sound is pretty good. Gets a little raspy at high rpms but somehow still sound cool. As far as performance goes, well i you to feel like i was being pushed into my Recaro, now it feels like I am being thrown into it. Can't wait to get a tune. The Reason i picked the AMS turbo back is because of its amazing fit. Simply put its the best fit out there. The HKS looks cool with the angle and all, but it burns your bumper and hits the driveshaft. I saw a couple other exhausts but i like the ams the best so far. The only cons are it kinda looks stock (definitely doesn't sound stock) and its not quiet universal, you have to use the whose TBE or you can only get the catback, no mix matching.

 

About the Import Tuner mag. The project Evo IX MR was on the December issue. What they put in it was a K&N drop in, the Tanabe TBE, and a Gizzmo EBC.

 

Buschur racing makes a good quality exhaust as well as megan... However all most all the JDM exhaust will neck down to 2.5 -.275, only your American builders dont...

I have an Agency Power, one for the looks two for the sound three its a FULL three inch. AP has the nicest DP i have seen(and trust me I have almost seen them all !lol).

For those who think they just knock off stuff your wrong they really took their time on the evo exhaust. I had the HKS Carbon Ti and the High power on my 8, both Droned on the freeway I hate that... Either way best of luck!

BUSCHUR is best HP Gain....HKS Carbon TI Best Looking and Sound

 

I stopped by some muffler shop today and asked for a turbo back exhaust and he recommended me to get a catback exhaust instead coz my car is a 2006 model and by getting a catback I would not void myfactory warranty, otherwise I will lose all my warranty if going with a turbo back exhaust. Is that truth?

He also recommended me a flowmaster catback exhaust, what do you guys think?
