You guys should help me do the preaching to save those souls in stangnet.com. Check my various comments on the 2005+ forum .

I love the Mustang, too. I own a tricked out '66 GT coupe, but my fav has always been the Boss 302. I am just hoping that the '06 Cobra will be alright.

Mustangs are cool, but they can't justify what they are missing without EVER driving the Evo (or even the STi). (n)

I've got more compliments in the Evo in 2 weeks than in 2 years with my Celica. Few days after I got it some kids at a stoplight
rolled down their window to say something. Since I was so used to the other car I had trouble finding my window switch plus the light had turned green so I just reved. So dudes from Aurora CO in black Cavalier if you read this, my bad, I must have seemed like an a hole.

My respects to Cobras and good ol' car enthusiasm.

I don't know about that. One of my closest friends traded his lightly modified Evo VI - Tommi Makinen Edition for a Ferrari 355 Challenge car. He regretted it constantly. He swore that the Evo VI - TME was faster than the Ferrari on the local tracks (they're short and twisty) and on tight back roads. The 355 is known as one of the sweetest-handling modern Ferraris so I found this shocking. Plus the engine note through that Tubi Style exhaust was out of control! BTW, this guy is an accomplished rally racer (he's a factory driver for Fiat Abarth) so it's not like he doesn't push the 355 to its limits.

Anyway, he never stopped talking about his Evo. He finally ended up buying another Evo VI - TME. This one is totally stock...for now. It was this car that convinced me to get an Evo.
