Evo Headlights not balanced

My friend just noticed when he was in front of me that my left headlight is a little brighter than my right one. Which means it is tilted alittel upwards. Once i got home i checked and it is true. My car is only 2 months old. Is this normal or is it just me?

its normal, if you search it was discussed a couple months back. It has something to do with having the driver side lower to not blind incoming traffic.

*edit* Oops!! if your drivers side headlight is higher that is odd, the passenger side headlight is supposed to be higher. Cant really tell if you mean left side from inside the car or looking at the car from the front.

Is there any way to aim the HID lights besides using the electronic aimer inside the car?

You can adjust it manually in the engine bay. You can either use a screwdriver (which chewed the gears on the adjustment knob on mine) or a 10mm socket. The adjustment knobs are near the back of the highbeams.

if the car is only 2 months old, u must still have warranty, i would just take it to the dealer...i've never noticed anything about my driver headlight being lower

was your friend in a car infront of you... if so, then it might just be perspective since he does sit on the left side as well. close ur garage and sit in they driveway to see if your beams are stragiht/level , assuming your driveway is level also.

Driver side HID will sit slightly lower than passanger side so you dont blind on coming traffic. Its opposite in japan

You sit on the Left side, So when its only you in the car the left light is slightly lowered, Therefore when you are not in the car the light appears higher.
