wrong spark plug?

I ordered some spark plugs from auto parts store and I think they got me the wrong ones. I asked for the bpr7eix. When I got them, they're different from the stock ones. The threads are shorter than stock plugs. Did I recieve the wrong ones? I have a pic of them side by side but not on the computer yet. If you need it, i'll post it up. Please let me know if I got the wrong ones. thanks

I never heard of those plugs. BPR7ES is the right ones I believe. I wouldn't install them, just because they "look different".

Are the 2003 evo and the 2006 evo spark plugs different? Maybe b/c of the mivec head? At the autoparts store, Nothing comes up when i search spark plugs for 2006 but when i search spark plugs for 2003, there's a lot more options.
Are the bpr7es spark plugs iridium plugs?

Yes, VIII's and IX's use different spark plugs. The IX's have longer threads for the MIVEC head.

The plugs are different from the evo 8 to the evo 9, i think you only option is to stick with the stockers.
