It's was tough to get a VII in the US. That's why he made that comment.

 

If you watch the movie on dvd the special features actually say that some of the stunt cars are Oz Lancers with the same paint and body work.

 

maybe because they didnt wanna wreck a evo7 but they could with the OZ....

 

Well of course they wouldn't wreck a VII, they would've needed more of them which would've sucked money out of there cheap production.

 

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but I was watching this movie (not my favorite, but it's kinda fun to watch and laugh) and I was wondering about this evo. how do you do that!?! it seems like it would almost be hard to make an evo that slow, I mean a 0-60 of 7.3 seconds, I think my mom's tahoe could do better than that
