i think we all knew these cars WERENT fast! and if you did, then i hate to break this to you too...santa claus isnt real either.. im not going to see a documentary..im going to see entertainment. its fake. and guess where its comming from...HOLLYWOOD. you people debating fast facts and all this are just lost. if youre honestly going watch cars fly over opening bridges, then say..omg! this cars HP dosent match its QT mile time or it dosent have its normal HP. you juss sound stupid. im sure if the car sprouted wings somone would say...OMG! that wingspan wouldnt supporst that weight! strictly entertainment.

crap, this poll just destroyed my hopes for those cars...especially the evo and the skyline...i downloaded the pics for the movie..the pink s2k has two large bottles of what i think is nitrous..how much did that one ran???also those graphics for the nsx, evo etc..almost every car are butt ugly...yuck

 

the s2000 and it's driver look horrid make me wana puke. the evo i kinda like =O heh but this thread is outa control shut it down! lol

 

alright, i'll agree to the fact that the MAIN evo he drives is a real evo 7, but who's to say that some of the one's doing the show tours and whatnot aren't just pimped out lancers? if they did the effects like they did the last movie, then their is at least 4 or 5 evos. is anyone actually sure that all 4 or 5 are in fact evos? maybe some of the shows are getting the evo "stand-ins" and not the real thing. the original supra wasn't in this movie, it belongs to some guy in europe now, so all the supras from the first movie that were in the spy pics aren't the original. i really don't think would send 4 or 5 actual evo 7's to be driven to hell in this movie. one i can see, but not 4 or 5. at the best they might be the gt-a's. and if i was stupid, SOF, i wouldn't be trying to prove my point without the use of profanities, would i?

 

If they didn't give them for free then the movie studio purchased how is that so hard to understand? 30 g a car and they DON'T HAVE TO BE STREET LEGAL FOR THE MOVIE! 5 x 30g's = 150,000 dollars is that THAT MUCH?! considering how much they spend on movies now a days? no it's not? of course not! and like i have said before they get them cheaper than we can so they probably didnt' even pay 30 grand a car the cars are real.

 

Is it Just me or in Fast and furious 1. was there a metal plate in the middle of the floor on the green eclipse??? Was there a reason for that? other then being there to fly off? cause it sure as hell doesnt add any hp or looks. blah

 

I saw 2fast 2 furious in the theaters yesterday because i had a special sneak peak pass. The movie comes out this friday.

I have to say, it was better than the first cuz of NO vin diesel and of course that sick *** evo. The evo looked good, although I didnt like the overly riced out wing.

the evo really kicked some *** and you could tell Mitsu wanted this Evo as a big marketing tool and i have to say it worked.

Tyrese was in the movie and he couldn't act for ****, but it was cool since he knew this and was just acting like himself. so in the end he really made the movie a lot funnier.

The coolest parts with the Evo are on the highway splitting through traffic and you could see its tight control. He even pulls a 180 turn around with the Evo right on the highway and starts going backward. too hard!

there were some funny parts too --- like these guys with big *** Mustangs were trying to make fun of the EVo and eclipse and they cracked some line, "whered you get those, a cracker jack box?" it was funny, but tyres replied that the guy looked like the Fonz and that was even funnier.

All in all i think it was a good movie, a bit exaggereated but overall good.


good lookin out Mitsu. plus i saw a lot of the people in the theater were really awed by the EVo...it definitly looked sick as ***.

haha... yeah .... hitting reverse on the highway ... whats the top speed of reverse ( not going over redline ) 20 MPH ?

reverse is a lower gear ratio then 1st so it must be below the 30's

 

Yeah, I saw it on the weekend also. It was playing at every single military base and the theaters were PACKED! I saw it three times and each time we got there about an hour early but there were barely any seats! @_@

Probobly a bunch of idiots are going to buy the EVO after seeing the movie and drive the price way up just when i'm going to buy.
