Its always been urban legend that a simple CB radio and a 300 watt linear amp will cause some nice havoc.

Be smart tho people ... don't try anything on a public road... just **** off your neighbors...

A clip from http://www.sans.org/rr/threats/electromag.php

"
2001 of what appeared to be a mobile device used by the Los Angeles Police Department
to stop vehicles trying to evade the law. A device carried aboard and fired by the squad
car was said to emit unspecified energy that disrupted a target car’s computer control
causing it to stall out. I presume your restored ’57 Chevy would have continued to run
normally due to its lack of fancy electronics. "

will everyone stop saying NOS, its a brand name! Nitrous or N2O would be better chocies, especially because they didnt even use nos brand nitrous in this one.

Someone told me its true, Im not sure though. They said that in LA they were actually testing new devices like that. But im not sure.

As for the movie, I thought it was better than the first. This was much more funny and more entertaining even though you can tell a lot of the stuff is fake. It's still good.

Rick Case sent over a couple of tickets but we didnt go - raining nasty in Alpharetta. We did catch the 10pm show.

Couldnt figure out why the boost gauges would go up when they hit the N20.. but yes, it is a movie and yes, the first one was better.

Did you know that Suki didnt even have a license when she showed up on the set? Jeez!

Yes, they are using ESD devices that will immobilize vehicles. Watch Tech TV once and awhile and enlighten your self.

to 2 Fast 2 Furious. A totally 80's plot, unrealistic car scenes, and stupid cars as feature cars (Read: Eclipse).

I was very very dissapointed. The first one is a classic, I have a feeling this one will be an altime flop. Theater was only 1/2 full.

And Miami...WTF...everybody know the real illegal street scene is here in Cali.

What's up with the Fugly 1/2 Japanese chick (Suki), they could have picked a hotttie JDM girl, like my wife!

The Special Agent chick was VERY HOT though...that was a positive. Babalicious!

Overall, it was a waste of my $30.75. What a letdown.

I gusee that they thought with those big wings, the cars should be flying. I thought that I was looking at the "Duke's of Hazard" all over again. Most of you young bucks are too young for that!

Thumbs down

And you know what the worst thing was? They has the front end of a Toyota Altezza towards the end when they were talking to the Mechanic. I spotted a sticker worth mentioning...

NISMO

That was pretty sad...IMHO...

Ya know I can't stand all this "the way they are showing it isn't the way it really is". Tell me how are you going to depict a shot of nitrous in film with out showing some sort of sudden surge of power. Some of you guys seem to forget depicting things on film is easier said than done. I think the producers of both movies have done a great job of showing the surge of power you get....no it isn't what really happens...but getting your point as the producer across to the audience takes exageration to give you the sensation that you really are going faster. And also like everyone says it is entertainment......if you want to go to a movie and see a melodramatic film with no booms or crashes or special effects then why go. I enjoyed the movie very much for what it was....hell it was way better than the first by far...better story line and not so much car "junkie" lingo. Also, it had our car in it...yes a riced out one...but still an evo.....yes it was an evo and not riced out lancer......they show a shot of the differential selector lights in the gauge cluster....and a shot of the engine for that matter. But hey what do I know....just my opinion

I saw the movie last night...I give it a BIG...except for the EVO

All the ricers were there doing burnouts in the parking lot after the movie...I just slowly drove by the group of people waiting in line for the next movie...They were saying stuff like.."WOAH, an EVO" and "WOW there's the car in the movie!!!"

They egged my car and now i have paint chips from the egg shell. What is wrong with these ****in piece of **** trashie people who can't respect other people's cars!!!!!

About the movie i feel the first one had a more intriguing plot and the 2nd more driving. I love the rally style U-turn. Wish my car could do that.

Did anyone see the article in the july sport compact car with the F&F2 cars? They track tested all of them.
The evo for some reason didn't do to well
It only ran a 1/4 mile of 15.3 at 88mph
and a 0-60 in 7.3.
Maybe the 18's and extra weight didn't help the times but they were saying "it feels like there's something in the intake sucking all the horsepower. It feels like it's been driven hard and put away wet. It's down on power". Also "maybe an hour and a can of Gumout can cure it"

the fastest import car they tested was the pink supercharged s2000. The camaro was the fastest of all of them.
