Anyone ever had their headlight and hood misaligned?

On Dec. 22, I traded my GG EVO 9 MR for a TB EVO 9 MR SE. A couple of days ago, I finally washed my new Evo and noticed that the hood was misaligned.........the gaps is bigger on the driverside then the passeger side and the hood has several vertical line scratches on the hood vents area. On closer inspection of the hood I also noticed some weird crack lines on the paint at the edge of the hood. So, I continued to inspect my Evo and noticed that the driverside headlight stuck further outward then the passenger headlight. The passenger side headlight also has a bigger gap where it connects to the fender.

Anyone ever has or had these issues with there evo's. This Evo is brand new and only had 12 miles when I pick it up from the dealer. I asked the sales manager of the dealer..........if this car was ever damaged or wrecked? His anwser is, " we don not sell new cars that has or had any damages.

Any input or help would be truly apprciated.

it's usually a good idea to look at a car before you buy it

I don't think they have any responsibility to fix it since it was already driven off the lot. You should have inspected it better before you left the dealership.

Something similar happened to me: I bought my car brand new with 5 miles on it. As I was getting in the car to drive it off the lot, I noticed there were a few small scratches on the wing and hood. I pointed it out to them and they replaced the wing with a brand new one and polished the hood.

i would still take it to the dealer and tell them what u found oout..

the later you wait.. the less chances the dealer would fix it for you

When I got my '03 the hood was slightly out of allignment. I was able to correct it by raising the rubber stops and loosening / adjusting / re-tightening the hood bolts. After reading your post I went out to look at my headlights anf they are okay though
