Carbing vs Beatrush Undertrays

So are the major differences and why would one be better than the other?

i was in the same situation, but i got the beatrush. According to Evasive motorsports, NOTE: 05+ EVO MODELS REQUIRE REMOVAL OF HARDLINE FOR INSTALLATION

I'm not to sure if you want to deal with that!!

i did a very small review on the beatrush: http://www.kamispeed.com/product_inf...9a2f6ba762256c

good luck with your choice

Get the Beatrush.

The Carbing doesnt cover under the oil cooler. It doesnt fit with the BR deluxe fmic with modification (you would have to have custom mounts made).

When you want to change the oil do you have to take off the beatrush undertray inorder to gain access to the oil drain plug and filter? For those who have a 2006 MR how did you get the Zero Lift kit (the front air dam) to fit on to the beatrush undertray?

Thanks

Yes. There are 5 allen bolts in total that need to be removed. It makes my oil changes 10 minutes longer than before. But I don't mind for the added security the under tray has given me already.

does that slanted portion of the undertray slant up or down? I couldnt tell from the picture and I've never taken a look under an evo so Im not sure exactly what sticks down the furthest. If it slants down, has anyone thought about its effects on lift? Looks sick tho

Beatrush ftw!! I havent put it in yet but Its so nice looking. I took off all those plastic under pannels for the first time yesterday when doing my front mount and I am so glad I have the Beatrush to put on instead. Those stupid plastic clips.....

I have a question for fellow beatrush users...There is a section in the passenger-side center (I believe) where there is a separate rounded-rectangular pannel that can come on and off with four screws...Is this to gain access to the oil filter and pan? I have heard other people say that you take off the back piece (closest to the center of the car) to get to the oil pan and filter so I wasnt sure.

I am pretty sure it slants down. The fins point downward to let heat out.

you have to cut one of the brackets if you have a large fmic, it doesn't have one hole to mount the cross bar, but both are easy fixes...

Fins slanting downward makes sense to me. Seems like if that whole section slants down that it would create significant lift at high speeds, anyone else think of this?
