does anyone else on here use the greddy ti silencer? cause ive never used it before, but last night i didnt want to get bugged by cops so i put it on, but when i hit 4k rpm the bolt broke off and shot out the back while i was driving. this is my second greddy ti cause the welding on the sensor bung broke and the bung fell off. i have another silencer left from the last exhaust but was wondering if anyone knew y, and if it was just a faulty silencer or something because of backpressure

 

it's just a cheap little bolt and a lot of back pressure...I'm sure Greddy would say it wouldn't happen with a stock d/p and cat

get a strong bolt is about all you can do or drill holes for additional bolts

 

I still have mine sitting in the shelf brand new need one ? Never used it. Sucks the cops are hittin you up,

i think its been dyno proven that the silencer makes you loose like 30-40 hp

 

nah i said i have another one leftover from my first greddy ti. i havent really had problems with the cops but it was new years eve and there were alot of them out so i just wanted to play it safe.

and as for the loss in horsepower yea im pretty sure thats true, thats y i dont usually have it in, i was just gonna try it for the night, but i guess my car didnt like it haha
