i'm also looking for a cover for this winter. i stumbled on this http://www.carcoversdirect.com they have a custom version where you select your vehicle. i'm looking for something to withstand rain/snow/road dust (i'm parked next to a highway and get lots of crap in my paint that only clay bar can remove)
Well, seems everyone has their own opinions....so Im no better off now than before this thread
Guess Im gonna have to just try out some different ones and see what I like best.

so, the buttom line is, the site above, the site i provided and the California site all have very similar products with similar prices.
so can anyone give feedback on what specific cover type was bought from those sites, where was it used (in/out/garage) and what results
thanks
it seems that the 3 sites that have been provided/discussed, (excluding OEM cover) all feature covers made from the SAME patented material made by Kimberly Clark company. the websites just provide the custom fit cutting and sawing for your specific model. if you notice on all 3 sites, the materials used (noah, evolution, etc) are all the same for the higher end covers. pricing is also similar.

What you say is true.
I mentioned that site in particular because they have been around for a while.
The company that actually makes the covers is CoverCraft.
They all have advantages and disadvantages.
I've had the Noah and Evolution.
They seem to fall apart after about 1 1/2 years.
However they are the thickest and have the softest underlining.
The more expensive covers, Sunbrella on up will last longer but cost more.
The problem I had with both covers on my Evo, was the antenna pocket
being a little to short for the antenna. The cover would hang on the tip of
the antenna. The antenna pocket seemed like it needed to be 2 inches
longer. I ended up getting a Perrin shorty antenna so now I have a floppy
antenna pocket. I also feel that the cover could be about an inch longer
on the sides. Other than those two issues, the cover fits real nicely.
If you find it neccesary to park outside and you really love your Evo, a cover
is a very wise investment. It will keep your Evo exterior and interior well
preserved.

thanks for the info Spec'd
i think i'm gonna give them a call and see if there's anything they can do about the antenna pocket. i'm probably going to go with the Noah material. did u get the cable lock as well? i'm not sure anyone will steal the cover in my apt. complex, but who knows. how quickly can you put the cover on and take it off? i'm planning on using it only during fall/winter months, but it'll be an every day task.

Glad I could help JoizeeX,
I had a cable lock from a previous cover but I never use it.
The covers come off real fast and easy compared to putting them on.
Putting them on is a pain-in-the-but. I won't kid you about that.
At least with the Noah it should be a little easier because the underliner
is a different color that they outside layer.
The guy I talked to at T.J. Carcovers is named Tim. He is real knowledgable
about his product and good to deal with. I'm sure he will be happy to answer
your questions and provide good advice.
P.S. Another wise investment would be a California duster.
I've been using mine for years. They sell them at all the local
autoparts stores in my area.

Not sure if anyone mentions but OEM gives you the cool mitsu logo on the front hehe. I say its hell not worth 160 bucks though. Get a used one. It fits better than most others anyways
