The car is exactly that of the $14k Lancer;

Except for the engine, tranny, AWD, ACD, brakes, wheels, exterior parts, some interior parts and so forth.

Whoever coined the phrase 15k car w/ 15k drivetrain hit the nail on the head. So the author is partially correct. Hell I've seen plenty of people on this board complain about the road noise and rattling. I've seen posts on this board complain about the suspension and road noise.

So that guys article is not far off IN THAT DEPARTMENT. But he has no clue about the performance aspects of the car, and what it is designed for.
