Front Fender Removal, Help!

Hi all,

Had a nice little "oops" at NHIS a couple months ago and banged up my front fender, I found a replacement and have my fender 99% off.

There is a small black trianglular panel in front of the rear view mirrior which is a bit of a mystery for me. How do I remove this piece? The last screw for the front fender is under this piece and I will be home free from there. It looks like it clamps on a smaller white screw on the body, but it would be impossible to get and even more impossible to unclip.

Anyone know how to remove this piece properly?

Cheers

Thanks for the response, are you sure about this though? It looks like it is clamped around the bolt and I am afraid prying it off would snap the clips.

EDIT: Whoops, I owe you an apology, it DOES just pry right out, sort of. You pry the back part out (Side nearest the rear view mirror) then slide the front part off.

Thanks for your help
