Downforce generated by rear IX OEM spoiler??

Anyone know how much downforce generated by the OEM spoiler? I kind a notice the spoiler flexed after it goes beyond 120mph, by comparing to the parrellel defroster line on the rear windows. I doubt is the rear window that's flexing, just curious, thanks for an information.

wtf...i dont even notice that sh*t. lol

you're asking how much downforce...that depends on your speed and everything else.

but the wing doesnt do much until you reach high speeds

oh, remember that evo 8s have the FULL cf wings...so they most likely wont see their wings bend

I was thinking to take the spoiler out, just the cops and troppers like my spoiler so much, almost half the time they will come very close to my rear and admire them .

So just weighing the pro and cons having it. Wondering anyone out there will have a simple compression gauge that can just mount it on the between the chasis and rear deck lid. Mount it and just drive to 120 mph and able to measure amount maximum lbs the biggie spoiler generate.

This morning my spoiler and gurney were full of water, just driving down a 30mph area you could see the way the air was spinning over it and throwing the water up.

I was showering the guy about 5 car lengths back with a spritz of water for a mile or so.

I thought it wa a little over a 100 pounds over 120. If you gauged it you would have to put it on the rear suspension and have a very smooth road.
