Window Tint
Some of you guys need to look at it from the law enforcements point of view. Would you want to pull over a car with tinted windows, it doesn't matter if they came from a junior high game or what. Criminals come in all ages so just because it is a junior high game that went on does it mean it cant be a teenage thug or a adult criminal there. You guys need to chill on that cops are a azz or jerk. Why don't you put your life on the line and when you get shot at then tell me any cop is a jerk for pulling and giving someone a ticket for tinted windows. I have tinted windows if I get pulled over hey that is the price you pay. Like the saying goes you got to pay to play. Yeah also my lil brother is a cop too.

Cops see me for:
Rally RED
Limo tint 5%
Exhaust sound (greddy ti with downpipe/cat-delete)
I get tint tickets and since my friends are cops they just sign it off for me and thats it. In michigan anything on front 2 windows is illegal cept for 4 inch from top.

So I should get rid of the gang stickers on my car as well????
But seriously, The law is the law.... you pay to play. If it is too dark then deal with the consequences or get it fixed.

Here's a tint law site (scroll down & click on your state): http://www.tintcenter.com/laws
i understand completely, i work for a law enforcement agency, but i have never once been told by any of the police officers that they pulled over someone for too dark of windows thats just plain moronic, its obvisous the guy was having a bad day. now on the other hand if he pulled the guy over for doing something stupid and ticketed him for his driving and then added the tint and what not thats all understandable. but to pull someone over at a high school game is ridiclous.
Do you know why sometimes people tint there windows that dark? It is to hide their faces, and other illegal activities. Not everyone out there with tinted windows do this but it is like a small percentage, but like they say they are the ones that ruin it for everyone. For example gun violence for all the people that have guns very small amount use it for illegal activities.
The point I was trying to make, between the Driver and Front Passenger and the two Rear windows, is the OP said he received a warning and was told he could have been ticketed $50 for the two Back windows, along with the two front. If Colorado dose allow your rear passenger windows to be tinted, like here in Cal. then the officers warning of $50 on all windows was bogus.

Ok guys i have a new one for you to help me with. So yesterday i was driving back to texas for school. i was following my friend in my evo and he was in a mustang. the texas speed limit is 70 mph. i was doing between 75 and 80. josh was about 20 car lengths in front of me. i saw him slam on his brakes as he was going over a hill. i then to hit my brakes and slowed to about 70 because we both have radar detectors i figured there was a cop. sure enough when i came over the hill there was a cop in the right lane going about 30 mph. i was on the phone with my mom and told here josh was going to get pulled over. a few seconds later as josh passed the cop (josh going 70mph) the lights went on. so i kept on going about 1/4+ mile a head of him and pulled over to wait. cop gets out and talks to josh and the next thing i know josh is driving again up to me, he pulls in font of me and shuts off his car just as the police officer is pulling up to park behind me!!!! next thing i know im getting a ticket for speeding wtf?? he estimated my speed at 80mph because i was traveling with josh and thats what he got clocked at. now there is no way he got me on radar going that fast. i was going only 70 when my radar went off. we both got tickets for going 80 in a 70 and only josh was on radar. he cant do this...can he? i have to call this judge and find out how much i have to pay, but i cant go argue it because its a 6 hour drive from here and i cant miss school to argue my case. so what now?
Well i got pulled over today for having my windows to dark. wtf is with that. i was leaving my brothers basketball game and before i could even leave the parking lot a cop pulled into the middle lane and waited for me to turn on the main road. i pulled out onto the road and was immediately pulled over. bad thing about it was my mom dad and sister were in the car behind me and as soon as the lights went on my mom was calling me trying to find out what law i broke. the cop was very nervous walking up to the car. he ordered me to roll all my windows down and have us all raise our hands. my 7th grade brother was scared when the cop told us to do that so he grabbed on to my harness bar. after asking for all my info and running me through the computer system he decided to test my drivers side window with this clamp like device that measures my tint. Colorado law he told me is 27% and i failed with a 11% lol. he threatened me with a $200+ tickets ($50 per window) said i was going on a black list for "dark windows". i guess i was lucky getting off with only a warning!
That sucks bro. Utah law is 43% in the front and you can go as dark as you want on the rear windows. I would kill to beable to tint my front windows to 27%.
