If it's true top secret gold, I'd go for it...

If it's only a knockoff, then I'd do with the horsepower.

I agree..I know someone with a fake-*** top secret gold paintjob....man he still isnt hearing the end of it from the local car community. I say make it a Royal Purple Evo....It would be different. Lambo orange is definately sexy.

Actually driving around with primar is RICE!!!! Like those civcs. If it's primired, then get a pain job, 400+whp is plenty for couple of month, wait till you get there. IMHO looks are important too, especially if you're primared.

well the paint is dupont and it was $510 for paint,clear,evrything..and my buddys bro in law is a good painter, seen his work and since i know him he will hook me up..its not the real top secret gold of course,i cant afford $465 a qt..but a big paint distrubitor on the island match it perfectly,a built low 10 sec civic has it and its really nice...

i want more Power but if i do that i have to spend good money, balance, install on pistons and rods, fly a AEM tuner to the island, tune it...so im looking at a lot more money than paint would cost.

so paint is more logical, cheaper to do and like everyone said i have the HP to back it up so ill probably get the paint...we will see tho..but if i go motor i get the more expensive choice out of the way and then paint wouldnt be much longer after that.

I would get the paint job done. Your car is already doing well in the horsepower dept. Make her happy and give her a nice shiny paint job.

yeah im stuck right now...it all depens on tax return and total cost of tuning etc...

cus pistons rods, alky and springs and retainers is like $1500,and port and polish job is free..but then fly a aem tuner out, tune etc...so looking at like $2000-$2500 when paint is $1000...hard hard decision

Normally, I'd say go for the power as I'd always recommend go over show... BUT with your car being primered, I'd probably hurry up and get it painted.. It reminds me of the primered Honduhs that run around with their loud fart cans..
