I want one. Does anyone know what has been done to the FQ-360 that sets it apart from the regular IX?

I was beginning to wonder if he was actually going to talk about the car or not.

Performance numbers are very similar to a car you buy under warranty here in the US!! Check out the EVO BR350!! For alot cheaper than that price too.

The end score was a 3/5? It seemed as though he was very impressed?

And off course they are fitting one more time a 6 speed gearbox. I told you people, it is the myth and the bad ficticious reputation some people gave to this wonderful 6 speed gearbox.

Nothing wrong with the 5 speed but nothing wrong with the 6 speed either.

"The FQ rips through the first 3 gears in a force-fed blur and suddenly you're doing one hundred and something and saying a silent prayer that you weren't spotted"

Great quote, that about sums it up, but I'm sure Clarkson says it better somehow

I thought I was bad with old people and idiots on the roadway until I read Mr. Clarkson's review.
Awesome.
I laughed my butt off.

If these are crank figures, 366hp and 365ft/lb torque seems comparable to just about any stage 1 from all the tuners. Do these FQ 300, 320, 360, 400 cars have heavier duty different clutches?

I'm sure most people saw this video of the FQ-400 , but just in case, here it is.
BTW, check out the whole video, although he loves this car for the track, you'll see that it really isn't a daily driver He's said that the FQ-360 is the perfect balance..

Carlos, your gearbox (6th gear) is already toasted with less than 15k miles, how can it be so "wonderful"? The fictitious and bad reputation you refer to is actually generated by a fair amount of MR 6-speed owners with mild/medium modifications…

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have the 6-speed gearbox in my Evo instead of the 5-speed. I really think is better suited for daily driving, and since my modifications are basically bolt-ons, the 6 would make a lot of sense. I drove your MR and I LOVED the 6-speed close ratios and feel.

(sorry for being out of topic)

I love his writing, I read Top Gear and Evo magazine. The british people just put more soul mixed with spice, anger and joy in what they say when describing a car! Good find.
