Take it from me. I had the narrow band once..... Goto the track like that and see what happens. Show up with wideband "hey man want to run".

Basic mods I wont think you need one. Once you get a tune or cams,FP, bigger turbo, AEM is a must. I feel like its driving with your eyes closed. Blown motor costs more then AEM wideband.

Autometer also makes a wide band - if you or someone else is looking to matck it with other gauges you don't "Have to" but the AEM brand name but it is still spend as far as gauges go.

narrow bands are completely useless unless you like following a light around back and forth over and over again
