I was just noticing that my gas pedal seems very soft. Is that normal or am I just a little paranoid. It didn't feel like this when I first got the car at least from what I remember.

check the throttle cable? do you mean that it's easier to modulate back/forth than it used to be?

 

I would assume that normal use of the throttle would put a little wear on the cable surround (or whatever you call the tube that surrounds the cable) and perhaps weaken the throttle spring a little. Either of these could cause a slight difference in feel. Perhaps you are just getting used to it though?

My car feels slower after a few months of having it, but I doubt that it really is. I just need to mod it a little to alleviate my situation .

 

You might just be getting used to it as your leg adjusts to the pressure.
