I dont know exactly how it maaged to get there, I guess the sun, moon, and stars were lined up just right. It sure puzzled everyone at the tire store too. I was fortunate that it happened when i was going 35 and not 135 "not that I go that fast"

I'm calling BS on this one..

You think it happened when you were driving around but you didn't notice until you had to use the wrench...

And you waited almost a month to post the pic??

Whatever. This is not real, and here is why.

Ok dude says he couldn't find it when he did his clutch install (which looking at post history happened aroun 12/18/06). So it must have happened before then (lets say 12/17). He then says a couple of days later he found it and it must've happened when he drove over it at 35mph. So lets say he found it on the 20th (2 days after noticing it was missing).

That means he was driving around with it for 3 days. Regardless of whether or not he noticed he had a 4" piece of metal sticking out of the tread block do you think the tire still held air? Do you think he would have noticed the flat tire and inspected it?

So yeah, totally fake.. Maybe the picture is real, I don't know but I doubt it.. The story is fake though.

When I was in highschool working at my uncles shop, I used to find all sorts of things in punctured tires. I.E. butter knives, forks, nails, bolts etc. The weirdest thing I've ever seen was the frame of a screen door wrapped around the wheel. I guess it had fallen off of a truck and as it was being crushed by the wheel it punctured and just worked its way around the rim. IDK the story, just remember removing the thing from around the rim. I can easily see how that punctured, fell out of the wheel well area at 30+ mph and just easily pushed through grooves in the tread. Easily ps, and just as easly believable.
