Actually Alcohol injection Done Right, can keep the motor runinng better longer. The alcohol cleans off any carbon build up before it gets bad so you motor stays nice and clean. Plus The reason you would Use it is to prevent Detonation, which is bad and can damage your motor. So Alky injection done right = Good.

Yea i'm just scurred that at 30 psi of boost the system burps or cuts out for some reason. That would suckkkk.

I'm still doing some research on how fast the aem safegaurds for the meth work and if its completely failsafe.

Well, maybe 30 PSI isn't Such a hot idea without Some Head studs. I don't know if the Stock turbo can take that much either? But I thought you meant Alky wasn't Good for the motor, What ever the effects of the boost are is another story. I know Stock turbo and motor can pull off 24 PSI easily. But I wouldn't push it to 30 without doing some research.

Actualy You know what you should get, a new lower boost tube. The Stock one is restrictive. Accompany that with Some more Boost pressure and a New FMIC and you should get some realy nice numbers.

I dont get the AEM EMS on a stock Turbo Evo especially a IX. A flash can and has made better numbers then this. Not that the AEM EMS is bad, it is awsome, but I think an over kill at this stage.

Building for the future buddy. Stock turbo will be history in a few months.

^AEM ems offers great protection if your alky kit craps on you (search the aem tuning forum)

I would really get rid of those cams and go with cossie or gsc.

I'm not doubting it. I just want to see others setups and compare my results with theirs.

I have similar mods (TBE, filter, Walbro) but instead of a cam I have an O2 housing. I made 349whp/350tq on a dynojet at 23psi on 93 octane w/ a tune done in ECUflash. But I'm with you - if you plan on doing more than the basic mods and you don't have to worry about emissions, then EMS is totally worth the investment. It's the foundation of your buildup.
