I'm an idiot...
I was having fun on the snow....I was doing donuts and drifting for little awhile..
and finally I jumped on little hill that goes around the parking lot..I felt something fell off... then I checked on front bumper and yeah.. (stock) half of my front lip is broke, and Black thing that covers under the car(front diffuser?) is fell off...
I'm soooo fraustrated because my car is only 4months old.....
I want to know What kind of front bumper should I get.
If there is no disparity price between Stock front bumper and aftermarket then I think I will order aftermarket that matchs with IX.
Do I need to get a front diffuser?

please help... You guys can tell me anything you want.. I know that I was an Idiot at that time.

that sucks dude. i got involved in a little accident too, my mesed up my bumper and itnercooler. I changed the itnercooler and pipes, i bought undertrays(not installed yet) and a i bought a bumper from this guy who didnt have it on. I have the bumper mounted on like 4 screws and I still have to bring it to the shop so they can install the bumper correctly and the undertray along with all mising pins and bolts. But i suggets u getting same bumper, I realized its not worth getting aftermarket bumper unless u really like it or u have lots of upgrades... its kind of a personal preference.. haaha but yea dude hope everything turns out ok.

but I think I don't need to change it.
and wow the stock F bumper is like 900$ why is it sooo expansive..


Edit: no, Not in connecticut I went to MA to see my friends and there was little bit of snowing.

 

i screw up my bumper, intercooler, and untray as well but i turned of on a road i was not aware of being gravel so my car kept going forward. if anyone knows where to get an oem bumper for cheaper than $845 please let me know as well as jinhaingevo

 

and im not sure about how much damage has really happened to the intercooler. it appears as though it has slight damage (some dings and stuff) and going to get it all looked at tomorrow

 

Same here but my upper part of front bumper is not damaged


I wish I don't have to buy the front bumper... I hope I can just buy a front lip with that small broken part that holds the lip. and where Can I get the black thing that covers bottom part of engine?

 

I got a nice good bumper from a guy for $300 even, dealer costs too much. the oly way ud get a good price is buying it off of somene.. ill let u know if anything happens.. oh and wuts up with ur undertrays guys?

 

the undertray will come off when the lip comes off because they are clipped together. i think u just need to get new clips for the lip and put it back on. the undertray should be fine, its very dirable and shouldnt have broke. just because something fell of doesnt mean its broken or unusable.

post a pic to see if we can help u. it may not be that bad.

okay I will post some picts tomorrow, I think that black thing is call undertray..
half of undertray is broke and half of it is falling off, I mean its touching the ground.
that picture is not mine, its aryders. I just drew some pictures to show what happnd on my bumper. If you see the small circle that its pointing and says "Broke", I think that part holds the front lip, so Mabye I have to buy whole front bumper just because of that......

try these...claim of a genuine mitsu IX front bumper for 680 and a knock off for 260...they have a bunch of other knock offs too is u want, but i like the IX bumper

just take the under tray off, I did and havent had any problems yet. also keep the stock front bumper I really like the look so fix it and keep it.

 

The knock-off is unpainted though I believe.
