Ok i guess i should have specified that i was on 93 octane and pushing 20 psi when i pulled 309whp. I DIDNT bump the boost up. and honestly I have had my car looked at Al (from dynoflash), Healey Werk (local import shop) and AMS performance (in chicago). Each one of them said my WHP is normal and that there is no problem so i am giving up. I have heard alot of people say my WHP is low but I am going to go by what the Pros say and believe them. Maybe People are assuming that my boost is higher than 20 psi, which is fine. But that is what it was dynoed at.; I didnt want to raise it up.

Anyway. I am happy with my numbers. And thanks to those who said Congrats for my numbers.

Oh and i was at AMS. I told them to Custom tune my 2005 Evo 8 the best they could. Which they did, and it says here on my Dyno sheet that it was on a Dynojet.

Says:

Max power = 309.66 Max Torque = 300.92

Now before i went to AMS I had a Custom tune done by a different tuner. I had:

Max power = 291.8 Max Torque = 282.57

Before my AMS tune my time slip was

60' - 1.7
1/4 - 12.5
MPH - 108.7

I know it seems slow and I cant take it back to the track to try my new tune until May (thats when the track opens). Now with that time of 12.5, I was pushing 25psi with 97 octane race gas BUT I had my All-Season tires on. This next year I am going to have a new set of Advans Tires, going to have a delete pipe (to remove the cat) and I am goin to run 116 race gas on 25psi WITH my new custom tune. I feel confident that i can hit low 12's if not high 11's. But we will just have to see

I wouldn't sweat it man.

Like I said before - numbers don't mean anything unless you have some real world results.

I've seen many people claim high HP numbers, but have gone to the strip and trapped lower than their claim numbers should have yielded.

Go to the track and see what you do.

Every dyno reads different, mine only did 314awhp on their dyno, but on a road course, I could pull out and pass a modded Z06, which had dyno'd @ 385whp without much effort. So, don't sweat it, take it to the track. .

I guess my 292/288 at AMS with FMIC, MBC, intake, fuel pump, and TBE wasn't too shabby.

In general AMS dynojet doesn't read as high as NE dynojets.

Ne need to dynorace.

What did you baseline at for curiosity?

Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" DOWNPIPE
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" HIGH FLOW CATALYTIC CONVERTER
Buschur Racing EVO VIII 3" CATBACK
Buschur Racing EVO VIII MAF PIPE KIT
Buschur Racing EVO VIII UPPER INTERCOOLER PIPE
Buschur Racing FORGE RS BOV
Buschur Racing RACE FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER
Buschur Racing LOWER INTERCOOLER PIPE
Buschur Racing SHORT THROW SHIFTER
Buschur Racing HKS 272 INTAKE CAMSHAFT
Buschur Racing HKS 272 EXHAUST CAMSHAFT
Buschur Racing APR STUD KIT
Buschur Racing WALBRO 255LPH FUEL PUMP
Exedy Twin Disc Racing Clutch
Forge MANUAL BOOST CONTROLLER

On AMS Dynojet With the custom tune they did, my 2005 Evo 8 pulled:
309.66WHP
290.57 Torque

They said it is running correctly and has great power.

I will attach a picture for you guys just incase someone seen me driving around in Chicago for the 5 days i was there.
I guess that sort of debunks the claimed 330hp on the BP (or any other) stage 1 setup. I always thought the claimed HP gains going around were kinda on the high side (as it is w/ every aftermarket modification).

Although you DO have the cams, FMIC and the intercooler piping--so I'd think you'd have a bit more than that. As long as you're happy though, that's all that matters.
