Headlight tint for my RR ? (pic)

A local shop is selling headlight tint for the IX for $25

What are your thoughts? I think it looks pretty damn good, but I'm sure its A) illegal and B) going to dim my HIDs

I don't like the look of it, but I don't think it's illegal. As far as dimming you HIDs - I don't think so.

Looks nice but I would think visibilty may be an issue when it rains at night or gets foggy.

I vote for not doing it. Looks cheap. And EVOs aren't cheap.

It doesn't look bad and will also help protect the lenses from pitting. I say go for it as long as visibility isn't drastically reduced.

Is this some kind of a joke? I can't believe that folks are suggesting that it's perfectly alright to limit the effectiveness of the headlights for the sake of some dubiously styled cosmetic accessory! This wouldn't be nearly as bad if it didn't feature a very powerful, no-nonsense automobile capable of reaching ridiculously high speeds in a very short period of time. It's as if this thread is the Ricer Planet episode of the Twilight Zone.
