Very smart move. I applaud you for realizing what's right. And screw your friends...if they can't understand...are they really friends?

Ive lost some friends in the last year just to speeding and drunk drivers. 10 points later and a son on the way, I pay a lot more attention to driving safely than ever before. Its sad what happened to this kid and another reason why car mods are useless on roads with speed limits and other drivers.

haahah gotta love scorke

Reading this story makes me think that I should probably go ahead and buy replacements for my stock Advans soon rather than trying to milk them until winter comes around.

Newsflash -> AWD doesn't prevent hydroplaning.

Newsflash->AWD doesnt put all its power down through the front wheels which also happen to turn which means that 25 percent more power (in the case of the evo) can be put through the front wheels whilst having the same amount of grip being able to be used to turn.

Thank you, I watched it too, it is a tragic story but definately sends a good message, I just tend to always see the humor in things

Very sorry to hear what happend..Glad that the outcome wasnt too bad...A lot of kids don't realize the hazards of going speeding. Even though evos have AWD doesnt mean that they are bullet proof from accidents. Its best to take it to the track, thats why a lot of states are cracking down on modifying cars.
