notice something weird about this evo
There's nothing "weird" about it. The big CF wing that "everyone" has was an option in 2003, actually - large wing and sunroof were the only 2 options. But it was an option that was on pretty much every one. Like people said, a relative few were produced like this, we have a few here in DC.

in europe you can get the evo with this wing instead the "high" one.
my friend got one like this .I asked him why ,he told me ,because cheaper ,police doesn't bother that much and better visibilty to the rear.

You would be surprised...When I lived in Tenn....couple of people thought my car ws just a lancer that wanted to be an Evo. One kid actually got out and looked at my trunk....saw "Lancer" and proceeded to say "It's just a regular lancer wannabe evo...you can smoke him." I guess he didnt see Evolution under the Lancer...needless to say I showed what this Poseur Evo could do to him in the 1/4 mile.

If a car comes with the big wings (EVO, STI, Supra, etc) then I love them on them and think they should always be kept on just because it sets the car apart. But if they don't come with a big wing (all the cars that people try to put a big after market wing on) then I think it looks gay.........just my thoughts, but to each their own!
I actually like the look of the low wing, thats what my '03 came with. Its nice to have something thats different from the standard in a town full of EVOs. Its also nice to fool people thinking that you are driving a lancer that wants to be an EVO.
The 03 wing is from a OZ Rally.
The white wing shown above is a Ralliart wing.
My 03 came with the small spoiler, it was my first mod to give it back the CF wing as it deserved. I honestly think that when going over 100+ the tall wing does help, car feel less squirley.
