I saw this evo for sale on ebay and it looked strange at first then I figured it out. I wanted to see what everyone input was on the wing?

 

it's probly just the oz lancer wing. i think a few 03 evo's came like that from the factory

 

It's been done by several people. IMHO, I think it's looks horrible. I'd rather it be wingless or have the stock wing, but whatever works for people.

 

i have never seen it on an evo before that was the reason for the post

 

mine came with the little wing also

 

i think it would look nice if it didnt have the center bar and the brake light. a little altering and i'd put it on my car

the wing on 03 evo viii's was an option. if i remember right the smaller wing came stock on the blue one's.

 

totally gay wing. but, that's just one mans opinion. but i do think i am right.

 

I takes away from it looking like an evo, with that small wing it looks like a normal lancer OZ.

 

yeah dosent look right on an evo, fits good on my car however cause I am not as wide as yall are.

 

i have a 2003 evo with the lancer spoiler...yes it came from the factory stock like these 500 of these evo where produce to make it a sleeper...

 

looks like a regular eco sedan with the wing. silver evo looks better though.

 

it looks ok.. ive seen a blue one and a yellow one with those wings.. on another note ^david whats goin on with the front of your evo?? accident?

 

There's nothing "weird" about it. The big CF wing that "everyone" has was an option in 2003, actually - large wing and sunroof were the only 2 options. But it was an option that was on pretty much every one. Like people said, a relative few were produced like this, we have a few here in DC.

The person selling this black one even went a step further taking the "evolution" part off the rear badging. Definitely going for the sleeper look, which clearly some of you don't appreciate. I think the big wing balances out the car and looks a lot better, but I can understand why people go with the small one.

Many people like it because it's one less thing for a cop to notice and look for a stupid reason to pull you over.

 

Theres nothing sleeper about an evo. Anyone w/ half a brain will know the difference between an evo and a lancer regaurdless of the wing and the badges.
