Hit a curb
Hit a curb
The other day I turned a corner in a subdivision hit the gas and slid into a curb. My passanger rear rim is scraped pretty bad, but here is my problem. It drove fine after the impact, no noise or vibration but the anti-lock light is on. The brakes work fine also, so I drove it home about 20 miles. A few hours later I leave my house and I here a grinding noise and the brakes feel terrible, but after I drive about a mile using my brakes only twice the noise is gone and the brakes work fine. I jacked it up and checked out all 4 corners and everything looks normal. I dont know what is wrong, any ideas?
Thanks in advance

first off check to see if the rim is touching the brake (which im sure youve done already) second check to see if any paint scraped off of the caliper, or off of the rim onto the caliper.. If so you might of messed up the brake aligning.. althou hard, its possible.. but if it sounds ok after a couple brakings i doubt its that.. i would have it checked out ASAP thou... go to mitsubishi early in the morning n have them check over it really fast.. incase of a bad problem, or if ur brakes are really messed up if i was u i wouldnt want them to fail while i was on the highway
