Yeah, in your own garage. Changing pads is pretty easy. Save yourself a good bit of money, and you learn to doityourself.

Any brake shop or mechanic can do it.

They are probably among the easiest brakes to change

All you need is an 1/8" drift pin and a small dead hammer. then they just pop out from the top. Brembo made them to be a quick change for track days. I think if you search there is most likely several how too's. Best of luck

theres a couple write ups also... basically take the wheel off there are two pins that push out and the pads pop out. You can compress the pistons back with a prybar i pushed mine back with my fingers, clean the pad shims off and put some anti squeal on them and install your new pads then reinstall the pins and your all set. I just wanted to give a brief over view im sure you and one of your buddies can figure it out in an afternoon

Price a set of pads from, e.g., http://www.raceshopper.com, such as Ferodo DS2500. See the How-To section for directions. Installation is very easy, but, if you're not comfortable doing it yourself, have someone else do it. Beware that dealers like to tell you your rotors need replacing, too.

I apparently paid too much for my pads (OEM Brembos at $320 for the front pair). There are other pads (Hawk) that work fine for street driving, according to other members of this forum. Labor is like 80 dollah - a small price to pay if you don't know how to do it yourself (and I'm one of those folks).

we went to wheelworks. It cost $300 compared to $900 at the dealer. So far no complaints.
