JDM/EDM/USDM Evo Models

Hey guys I was just curious between the differences in the models.

From my understanding the GSR model in Japan = pretty much USDM MR, then what is the GT model and the difference between the JDM RS and USDM RS (from my understanding the JDM RS is available in a 6speed as well, or is that the GT?) Anybody that can sort this mess out for me can you please chime in? Thanks all!

Based upon my research, Mitsubishi U.K. creates the FQ models from authorized tuners. However I may be wrong.

yeah, from what i've seen and heard on uk programs like topgear and such...the fq models are only offered in the uk not japan.

and the GT model in japan is the usdm standard evo (5 speed) or gsr as people usually call it.

My wife is Japanese and her parents send me car magazines from Japan all the time. You have no idea about the cars we miss out on. Basically we get what does not sell in Japan. We get the bottom of the barrell. Thats why we dont get the Rx7s and Supras any more. They didnt stop making them they just stopped shipping them over here.
