Is this fluid correct?

I went to the dealership to get some transmission fluid. The guy at the service counter didn't seem like the brightest crayon in the box. I am under the impression this could be for the differentials, but I am not sure. Can someone tell me what this is for? Its going into a IX 5 speed.... Thanks

Use Pensoil Syncromesh or BG Syncroshift in your tranny. As stated do not put that stuff in your trans its only for the TC and rear diff

BG Synchroshift II for the trans. Redline 75/90 for the X-Case, and Redline Heavy Duty Shockproof for the rear diff. This is what RRE recommended and is what I bought.

do not put 75w90 in your tcase, put the stuff you bought, the thing about multigrade fluids is their claim on how well they flow at a certain temp while still protecting as well as a 90 weight, its just a claim and may not be the case, stick with straight 90 in your t case and rear diff, never a multigrade.

people have fried their T case by putting 75w 90 in them.

60,000 + on my TC, Tranny and Rear Diff. Only Diaqueen and Syncromesh for me. NO whines or Grinds. I want the crap to break so I can get Shep or TRE to rebuild it all.

Lancershop has both the BG Sychro Shift and the Sychro Shift II. They always has the first and I used it and my evo didn't really like it. the tranny would whine at higher speeds until I pushed in the clutch. Now I use a mix of redline and the whine isn't as long but on longer rides it is more noticable. I wonder if the Sychro Shift II will make a difference.
