Intercooler spray question
This may be an exceedingly stupid question, but is there an easy way to check whether I'm out of intercooler spray? I can see from looking in the engine bay whether the reservoir is full, but not whether it is empty. I can of course look to see whether it is spraying when I push the manual spray button, but that would require a second person. Does the pump sound different when empty, perhaps? I could of course answer this question myself with some trial and error, but thought if anyone else has already figured this out I might as well benifit from the board's collective knowledge.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Heggley is correct, just like with the wiper pump, the intercooler spray pump does indeed make a different noise when the reservoir is empty. Much louder. Best way I can describe it is that when it is empty, I can hear the pump clearly over the AC and radio (at a low volume), but when it isn't empty, I can't. There is no warning light. Good to know since my guess is that it is easy to burn the pump on these things, and it may not be covered by warantee because of "user error." Hope this helps!
there are two seperate tanks that hold the fluid for the winshield washer and the intercooler spray right? that what i thought because there is one under the hood and there is one on the right side of your trunk, when you open up the trunk that is. thats how it is right? cuz the tank in the back is much bigger to hold more liquid
