Just got this in the mail... All i can say is this will most likely be the most quality part that touches my evo (no offense, but the evo is a little rinky dinky)

But anyways, im excited to see what this bad boy is capable of... Its ashame that 500 miles is going to be a biatch to get 500 miles while im at school.. looks like i will be driving around campus nonstop

I was in the exact same situation guys, my clutch went bad in last august, and knowing that i couldnt afford this one at the time, i drove around my saturn till a couple weeks ago when i finally got the dough saved up for it.. (it was tough not being able to drive my evo for almost 6 months, but it was off the insurance from november till now anyways for winter storage reasons, so that helped out my emotional pain towards it ) Never realized this thing is so heavy!!

Awsome man, you will love it! I have one on my car, but PLEASE break it in properly, and then you will enjoy it much better and longer. I have had mine on for a little over 30,000 miles, and go to the track pretty often.

 

I'm not sure how much he paid or from where. My recommendation would be to check with NoLimitMotorsports though. They have the best deals on Exedy I've found when I've been hunting for my previous clutches.

 

Go through Nolimit and talk to steve ... Hurry though becasue the prices are going up.. a good bit.. Exedy is changing the prices for the 2007 season, and its not very pretty.


Thanks man, I already have my 500/600 miles planned out to the T... Nothing in the upper RPMs and no heavy foot... We will see how well i can do considering i havent driven the car a single mile since August of 2006... Its been TOO LONG, and im getting impatient!!!

 

you may be one of the several that learns how terrible that clutch is, hope you don't have too...

 

Hope not either. Drove on about 3 other clutches, this one felt physically the tightest, and felt almost as comfortable as stock for holding the power that it does.

Did you previously have this clutch that you feel bitter towards it? or just know people
