Since the thread of the Cuda was moved to Misc other cars,( https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=250492 ) here's what I had posted concerning all of the requests for pictures of the carbon fiber on the Evo.
Sorry mods, didn't expect that much attention on the Cuda.

I've been asked several times for pics of the Evo so here's a few with a link to my Brothers Hemi Cuda. (the one he WOULDN'T give me).

How much where the doors and how much weight it saved ? Looks awsome.

 

David Buschur wanted to put a star (badge) on the doors. Might be a bit over the top. Actually a subscriber on EvoM suggested a good name, I changed it. He said PANDA, I may use PANDA-monium.

 

I wonder when Bushur is gunna make a blower for the EVO...

 

Doors about 4k, savings of doors only was 70 lbs. Not much, but as you know, the last horsepower and the last pound are always the most expensive.

 

I always thought it would be cool to do a carbon hood, front bumper, fenders, and doors and then do some custom paint job where it somehow fades the carbon into the color of the car. So from a distance it just looks like a custom paint job with a lot of black. Then you get up close and are like, "Holy $hit! That's carbon fiber!"

You know what I mean?

Knowing David, I don't think that's in the plans. He'd probably say, "Blowers only suck". lol

Not yet. My plan is to drop all the weight I can without cutting anything, lighter parts, etc., then look at what I have to add back, aero being in that stage. Airdams, pans, etc.

 

Cool i did some aero stuff also they said it helps.

 

looks good... since your trying to take off weight are you planning on gutting the interior?

 

Fitmit of the doors seems to be a bit off, am i correct?
