Matching Recaro Child Seat

I have done a search and didn't see anything like this. My wife and I are fixing to have a little boy, and I thought that this would be perfect for him when he rides in the EVO.

I thought that other EVO owners with small children might think it is cool.

cool seat. i'd make sure and check out the safety ratings for the seat before you get it. some of these "cool" things for kids can be poorly constructed or not be as safe as one might like.

PS. I'd love to find PJ's for my son that look like a driving suit!

That's cool. I wish they would have had something like this when my kiddos were young.

Careful, they will not want to leave that seat, even if your car is on the dyno!

Just make sure you see the weight and age limit of it. When they are tiny babies, they need that goofy one that keeps them locked in without movement so their head doesn't flop around...

My daughter is 18 months and about 25 lbs. So she is getting one soon...I just haven't found one at a good price. The other kids are older so they will be upset but oh well...She is the baby and gets spoiled.

On a side note, i have a 6 year old girl and an 18month and they share a room. We went to Rooms to go Kids and got them a new bedroom set. The wife picked out girlie stuff...But the baby went STRAIGHT TO THE RACE CAR BED!!!! I pulled her off of it after 30 minutes and she FREAKED! So, we know what she will be when she is older!

Congrats on the new addition.

kris

PS. Here is a LINK to a BABY car seat...just to give you an idea of the early options for the little one.

lol...

That's a slightly expensive seat though. I would hope it passes crash-test ratings like the adult-sized recaros for that price.

Edit: Though it does offer a rather large amount of growth.

Everything for kids and babies is expensive. A nice Graco seat is about $100+. Speaking of expensive, good luck with formula! I was stoked when mine turned a year and we could use whole milk!!! WOO HOO! After 3, I cut my factory off although I wouldn't have minded one more.

There are three grades of Recaro child seats, ranging from ~$350 to ~$130. The seats I have can be bought for ~$120 on sale.
