Please Help - Need VIN for IX SE

I wrecked the front of my car 'bout 3 weeks ago and I've been trying to replace it with a bumper off a IX SE (with the lip). The bodyshop where the car is at has been trying to get the require parts but is being told they need the VIN to look up the part. Please help

Thanks!

Are you asking for the VIN off of your car or a part number for the bumper? If you need your VIN and you don't have your car handy you can look on your insurance paperwork. As far as a part number for the bumper just call up the dealership.

I have an VIII. I need a VIN for a IX SE to give to the part ordering buy so they get me the right bumper and all hardware.

I've had this fight with dealerships before. YOU DO NOT NEED A VIN TO ORDER A PART. THe parts department has these nifty parts diagrams that shows what parts are available, color options, and part numbers. Only reason they want your vin is to log what has been done to your car. Don't let them give you that nonsense of needing a vin to guarentee getting you the right parts. Speak to them directly, not over the phone, and tell and show them exactly what parts you want. IF they still give you nonsense, go to another dealership.

Your bumper part number is 6400B002WA, and the SE lip is 6512A149WA .

Who's VIN was what? Spins posted some part numbers, not a VIN number. There's not a single VIN number in this thread.

yea the proper question for this thread should have been to ask for part numbers. not a vin.
