Please help.

Went to work today and when it was time to leave. The car would not start. When i would take the keys out the dash lights would all still be lit up. When i disconnect the negative cable and reconnect it a wierd clicking noises happen right behind the battery. And the dash lights will all illuminate w/o the keys in the ignition. THis all happend after this ice storm we just had in South Jersey.

someoen please help

What's up with all these electrical problems I keep hearing?? And most of them do happen when it's snowing or cold out.

Is the fuse blown by the positive battery terminal? The fuseable link on the battery cable?

I would check the battery, its probably dead, the clicks you hear when you connect your neg. back its normal. Try to use jumping cables

Sounds like you have a bad battery. Get a jump, and drive to autozone or the like.

if its a bad battery... how come the car stays running once i take the key out.. and after i stall it off. disconnet the battery, reconnect it and the lights on the dash come on w/ no key in the ignition.

There are faulty ignition switches. Try this, use the SPARE KEY, and see if it still does it. SERIOUSLY.

Sounds like a bad cell in your battery.

Staying on with the key removed? Sounds like you have a turbo timer... The car is shorting out somewhere on the body.
