That isn't a US-spec Evo, so it probably has the AYC that US cars lack. So, since that was a handling comparison, I'd say it's not valid for the US.

The US Evo was Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year once.

Pretty much every head to head comparison against the STi/STI the EVO comes out on tops.

A lot of the comparisons for the EVO are against cars that are two to three times more expensive, so it's tough. But my favorite had to be when Road and Track pitted the EVO VIII against the champion dirt bike in a race in the desert and the EVO won!
