Cant get the snorkel back on after installing the Greddy UICP, the snorkel hits the hood when closing.. I have left the snorkel off for now, but i know its not a good idea

Will this effect anything? The airbox has a HKS Drop in filter.

What can i do?

I thought that the Greddy UICP fit the stock airbox and snorkel....May want to call Greddy or whomever you bought it from....I wanted to get a Nisei, but don't want to go the small batter route...Good luck

 

we took out the iiner hood fins and made the snorkel fit..

would there be any adverse effects to not running the snorkel though?

 

mine didnt' fit at first either... u need to mess with the uicp... it must not be positioned right.
