new 1/4 mile times

I ran my car last night with a few mods and here is my best run.

1.743 60'
5.214 330'
7.538 594'
8.056 1/8 mile
86.99 1/8 MPH
12.484 1/4 ET
111.87 mph

I will try to scan and load pics of slips and car asap. A friend also taped it and is converting to mpeg for me. will post that as well.

Great night I am happy.

Nice run. What boost were you at? Mods? The registry show Nitrous as a mod. Were you sprayin'?

Yes I was sprayin. I had a kit layin around and installed it last night.

I sprayed a 50 shot wet NX kit, and my clutch thanks me dearly for the lower rpm launches.

I also have a UR Downpipe and test pipe. I am running stock boost right now.

I ran 94 octane pump gas. VP 117 is on the way, we bought a 55 gallon barrel.

I will soon have the HKS 272 cams, and a full 3" turbo back exhaust. we are also getting ready to change turbos. Will supply more info as soon as we get it done.

Any feedback from anyone on the Apex'i HKS or Blitz Electronic boost controller?

I love the HKS EVC V - couldnt be working better - - - If I had the nerve to stray my evo I am sure it would run 11's right now - - I am just not sure how much those stock rod bolts can handle !

excellent times!

what rpm are you launching at now with the NO2? Are you feathering the clutch when you launch, or dropping it?

and your post makes an interesting point.....
will adding power, especially low end actually save on the clutch? any experts want to tackle that one?

I ran a 12.75 with a 3000 rpm launch, and the 12.48 came at a 4600 rpm Launch. This is much better than the 6000 rmp dumps I had to do the only other time I ran to keep it from bogging off of the line.

damn, 1.3 60 ft! and they ran a 10.2 @ 108? those numbers don't add up well unless they have an insanly low top end.

Looks like your opponent got on the brakes at the end of his run there, Alfriedesq.

The thought of nitrous on top of 20 pounds or so of boost makes me real nervous, for some reason...

i want to set up a nos system only to be used under 17 psi... so it would shut off once it hits about 17psi, and let the boost do the rest. anyone know of where i can get the electronics for this?

Yeah - that guy hot the breaks so hard he nearly flew through the wionshield - he was a ringer for sure - nice reaction time eh! I had the miserable luck to draw him on my first round - - and it really kills me becuase I was soo close to my dial in

It was a damm MOPAR Duster 340 with giant slicks
