Yeah, sounds like you have the skills, I do too. Still, there's things I'd rather do. I'm thinking this job is going to rate right up there with painting the living room. Stupid design, you ought to be able to remove the heater box without removing the dash.

Anyway, I'm thinking I will throw in a new heater core while the thing is apart. I only have 40,000 miles on my car but maybe by doing this I won't ever have to be in there again.

yeah ill definitly be doing it when it warms up figure ill just go at it and c where i land hahahah will be interesting to c the inside of the dash Would be nice to find a place with that Repair kit though any ideas??

Gentlemen,
I live in Alaska, although I am in Texas as I write this and the heat in my car started only working on 4 the night before I left. There is zero airflow (hot or cold) on 1, 2 and 3 then 4 works just like it is supposed to. I didn't have time to check the fuses and I don't know if there are separate high and low blower fuses. Is this the same thing that you are/were experiencing?
