High pitch/Screetching Wheel Noise
High pitch/Screetching Wheel Noise
Hi,
I've been searching and searching but I didn't find anyone else with this problem. Just recently I noticed a high pitch, screeching like noise from my front left wheel/fender area and i'm unsure what it could be.
It is also possible that it's coming from the left side of the engine, but I boost normal and it sounds more toward the wheel/fender area, although I could be wrong.
It's not the whine of 1st gear (which i'm used to)
Although it does happen in 1st gear and occasionally in 2nd and 3rd.
The noise occurs Only Somtimes when I First start to drive the car,
then it will go away,
then it will come back later on while the car is warmed up
But only on occasion.
It seems to come and go on a daily basis.
It's been happening for two days.
The noise has no effect on my driving and I was planning on driving it for a few more days to see if the noise persisted before I really start to worry.
Also, I live in PA and we've had some light snow and harsh weather, but I didn't see any snow in my wheel wells that maybe could have caused this. Any help would be great. Thanks.
