Im not big on posting stuff and im sure the topics already been covered but im just looking for some feedback. I bought my 06 evo ix about a month ago and recently ive started to hear what seems to be a faint whistle noise while driving. The noise is constant but doesnt get louder with speed and only seems to happen while in gear and driving. When cars idle it isnt noticeable and if the cars out of gear and rolling it goes away. Possible boost leak? or belt? If anyone could give me some input I'd appreciate it since im new to evo's.

what speed does it start at? what gear?

 

the noise is pretty constant in any gear and doesnt vary with speed. The noise is steady until clutch is engaged or car is in nuetral ad goes away.
