Yup go with the IX DV..I ditched that plastic POS..love the IX holds boost much better.

If you are impressed by that, get some cams so you can really feel a night and day difference

the car came with the stuff. the only thing i added was the megan testpipe/resonator.
i just thought 299/284 was high for those mods. just wanted to get u guys feedback.
cuz when i look at other ppls flash and stuff i dont really see those numbers.

Yeah, you do. Those are the expected numbers for those mods on an VIII. A IX would put down 330-350whp with those mods.

ok. got it tuned by MACHINES GONE WILD here in miami. best shop for evos and subarus in my opinion with great prices.

MGW is a nice shop, I have only been down that way once, its just to far for me to drive for a shop, when billet is right around the corner and I have never had a bad experence with them in my life. Nothing but good.

I dont think mivec is worth that much, more likely its that the 16g they put in the 9 is visually larger than the 8's turbo. Does anyone know what % larger the compressor housing is on the 9 turbo?

not bad...but who cares about numbers. It is all about how it drives. There are many factors that can influence dyno numbers...mainly tune and dyno used.

Not trying to down play your results

You'd be suprised what tuners are doing with adjusting the mivec settings.
